chronology arts is young, ambitious, diligent and tireless, however youth and energy alone cannot sustain an arts business! It is critical that we build a sustainable base if we are to survive into the future and we are planning to generate income through a combination of government grants (from relevant arts funding bodies), ticket sales, corporate sponsorships and donations.
This is where you can help!
Financial donations enable us to continue to pay musicians, purchase venues, market our events, and deliver the largest exposure for our composers as possible. Our aim for 2010 is only $25,000. If we archieve this (which is only 10% of our total budget), we will be able to survive into 2011. Any amount is very appreciated.
In kind donations , giving of services or products without charge or expectation of return, is also a very valuable option. We operate as a business, and have the same expenses as any business – marketing, internet, administration, accounting, legal, planning, etc, but as a business promoting events, we also have expenses with venues, lighting, technical equipment/support, FOH, back-stage, food, beverage, stage clothes etc. If you or your business has goods or expertise that you feel we could use in ours, or you would like some exposure to our audience, please contact us.
Partnerships based on contra or token marketing possibilities is also an option which we accept, where we help promote your business in our programs or on our website in exchange for monetary or in kind support.
