Victoria has enjoyed working with many orchestras performing as concert master of the SBS Radio and Television Orchestra , The Young Symphonists orchestra , the Alexander Orchestra of the National Music Camp and the International Youth Orchestra in Spain 2001. As a member of these orchestras , she has performed in Japan , China , Hungary , Austria , The Czech Republic , the Slovak Republic and Spain. Victoria currently leads the newly formed Chamber Orchestra “ARCO” which she co-founded with other young Australian Musicians.
Victoria performs for many musical organisations including The Australian Institute of Music, Australian Musician's Academy, Mostly Mozart Festival, Manly Music Club, the Ryde & Hills District Music Club , The Art Gallery of NSW Concert Series and the St Andrew’s Young Concert Artists Series.
Victoria has performed in broadcasts for 2-MBS-FM , ABC FM and Radio NZ , and has performed as a soloist with the SBS Radio and Telvision Orchestra , The Queensland Youth Orchestra , the PLC Chamber orchestra , Sydney Symphony Orchestra , Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and the Balmain Sinfonia.
In 2004 , Victoria was awarded the “International String Player” award at the Gisborne International Music Competition in New Zealand , and shortly afterwards became the recipient of the Order Of Australia Association Scholarship.
In 2005 , Victoria won the Marcus Edwards Scholarship, and was part of the String Finals of the ABC Young Performer of the Year competition , where she performed the Korngold violin concerto with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Also in 2005 , Victoria performed the Tchaikovsky violin concerto with the Balmain Sinfonia.
Also in 2005 , Victoria was the finalist in the 2mbs-fm young performer of the year competition , where she was awarded the Listener’s choice award for her performance.
Now in 2006 , Victoria has started her masters degree at the Australian Institute of Music , and has also been accepted into the Sydney Symphony’s Fellowship program.
Victoria proudly performs on a violin made by A.E. Smith , which has been loaned to her for two years as part of the Perry Hart Memorial Prize.
