Jonathan Ryan
Jonathan Ryan, originally from Melbourne, has just completed a Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours) degree, studying with Alexandre Oguey and receiving Merit and Board of Governor Scholarships. Jonathan has had extensive ensemble experience with ensembles such as the Melbourne, SBS and Sydney Youth Orchestras, the Melbourne Symphony Training Orchestra has participated in summer music schools in Mexico and Spain and the AYO National Music Camps, and has also appeared with the Melba and Cellar Door Wind Quintets and the Australian Youth Orchestra. Since 2005, Jonathan has been a member of the Sydney Sinfonia.
Jonathan is about to embark on a two-year postgraduate course with British oboe soloist Nicholas Daniel at the Trossingen Musikhoschule in Germany.
