Cameron Hough

Cameron has been playing the violin for 16 years, and is currently studying violin with Scott Taggart in Wollongong. He has been involved in orchestral playing for many years on both violin and viola, playing with the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Wollongong Symphony Orchestra, Sutherland Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra 143, South Coast Orchestra, Illawarra Choral Society, Steel City Strings, and the Bluescope Steel Youth Orchestra, including experience as concertmaster and section principal, and has appeared as soloist with the Bluescope Steel Youth Orchestra playing the 'Summer' concerto from Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons' for their 2005 Tasmania tour, and with the South Coast Orchestra for several concert programmes. Cameron is also a keen chamber music player, and recently recorded a movement from a new world-premiere violin sonata, which was broadcast on 2MBS FM. Cameron is currently working as an acoustic engineer after completing studies in engineering with First Class Honours at Wollongong University in 2006.
