Born in Macau, Andrew is currently in his third year of Bachelor of Music (Performance) under the tutorship of Daryl Pratt and Richard Miller at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Andrew participates in orchestras and ensembles in both Sydney and Macau. He has been performing as a causal percussionist with the Macao Orchestra and this is his second year to be elected in the Sydney Sinfonia Orchestra.

As a soloist, he has been invited by different groups such as ‘A different corner’ production and SECS etc. In 2007, he performed the percussion concerto by Richard Rodney Bennett with the Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra successfully. Early this year, he has given his first recital in Macau and premiered “Kaleidoscope for virtual orchestra and percussion” by Henrique Dib.
