An experienced recorder player, Alicia has won several competitions including the Under 18 years division of the Australian Moeck Recorder Competition (2005) and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Early Music Concerto Competition (2007) with her performance of Telemann’s Suite in A Minor. She has performed in numerous masterclasses for artists such as Kate Clarke, Eva Legene, John Tyson and Genevieve Lacey. Alicia is a passionate supporter of contemporary Australian recorder repertoire and has premiered a number of works by Stephen Yates, Elias Constantopedos and Hayden Woolf. She has also performed with notable artists such as Neal Peres da Costa (Harpsichord), Daniel Yeadon (cello/viola da gamba), Jamie Hey (cello), Hans-Dieter Michatz (recorder), Ruth Wilkinson (recorder) and Kamala Bain (recorder) in addition to ensembles including ThoroughBass, The Sydney Conservatorium Early Music Ensemble, Coro Innominata and Concertato. Alicia is also a co-founding member of Bellatrix Recorder Quartet.
