Nathan Carruthers
A student of Neta Maughan, Nathan Carruthers received LMusA (Distinction) in paino at 16 years of age. In 2001 he performed at the Opera House Encore Concert. He has won numerous prizes and scholarships. In 2007 he was a finalist for the 2MBS-FM Young Perfomer Awards. He has given piano recitals for the Lane Cove musical society and the Asutralian Scoiety of Keyboard Music. He is also an organist and has performed at the Town Hall several times. Other interests of his include mathematics (in which he completed an honours degree at Sydney University), bushwalking and other outdoor activites.
